- Clark Bardes Contribution: As a sales and distribution partner, Mark played a pivotal role in developing Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI). Over seven years, he generated over $5 billion in sales to large, publicly traded banks with Tier 1 capital exceeding $100 billion. Following Clark Bardes’ IPO on the NYSE, its BOLI portfolio and corporate enterprise were sold to AEGON in 2006.
- Business Sale and Insurance Practice Development: Mark and his father sold their closely held business, Pollock & Pollock , Inc. to Huntington Bank. He helped develop and generate the core insurance practice for the Bank, with $200 billion in asset located in the Midwest with approximately 20,000 employees.
- Innovative Solutions: Mark developed insurance funding solutions for closely held businesses, governmental entities, and non-profits, including hospitals and endowments. His specialization includes funding buy-sell agreements, structuring SERP programs, and addressing long-term care needs for high-net-worth families. •The Big Picture: Mark created “The Big Picture,” a one-page strategic framework that organizes wealth strategies into six core buckets for high-net-worth families. He has implemented this framework for over 1,000 families, enhancing wealth transfer and legacy planning.
